Nocturnos lemures

Somnia, terrores magicos, miracula, sagas,
Nocturnos lemures, portentaque.
HORAT.
Dreams, magic terrors, spells of mighty power,
Witches, and ghosts who rove at midnight hour.

I'm finally reading that most scandalous, horrid gothic novel, Lewis' The Monk.
